Although from the fact that “The Waste Land” has led the modernize movement and accomplished that concept, my favorite poem by Eliot would be “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock”

Actually I'm currently doing a study of The Four Quartets, and I admit they are difficult. However, once you are given some guidence to get started, I find they are the pinnacle of Eliot's opus. I think that it is a greater work than The Waste Land, although no poem influenced a generation of literature more than The Waste Land. The form of The Four Quartets is unlike any other poem that I've come across.

The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock is in my list of favourite poems :coffee1:

Third Eye Blind, Is there a similar guide for Eliot's "Four Quartets?"

I’m getting familiar with Eliot’s by translating an interview with him for a book will be published later. I think “The Waste Land” suggested a different form and structure of verse that was a deviation of what was even Pound doing. The thing I admire the most in Eliot’s poems is the cosmopolitan sense.. and things like "Put your shoes at the door, sleep, prepare for life" serves the mentality of a poet more than a structure.

The best thing you may find on Four Quartets is wikipedia pafe.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Quartets
